I am a BACP Registered Integrative Counsellor and Psychotherapist based in Cardiff, South Wales. Over the last decade, I have worked in a variety of settings to support adults, children, and young people with their emotional well-being. This also includes working with family conflicts, anger issues, LGBTQIA+ clients and marginalised communities.

I offer sessions to adults face to face, online, over the phone and walk & talk therapy and I look forward to hearing from you soon.

Commitment

I believe you are the expert on your own life, my role is not to tell you what to do but to create a safe space, to explore, help and work alongside you. I understand that taking the first steps in counselling can feel like an intimidating process. I offer a warm, non-judgemental approach and work at a pace that suits you and your current needs.

Approach

I come from an Integrative stance, which means that I am trained in many different approaches (Psychodynamic, Person-Centred, Existentialism and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy). I recognise that each person may need something different from therapy, and draw upon on variety of therapeutic tools to help us with your personal journey.

I am curious about how relationships, both with ourselves and others might impact how we make sense of the world around us. I focus on building a strong therapeutic relationship with my clients. I believe that by exploring together, we can help make sense of our thoughts, feelings and behaviours, and how this might relate to our identity, purpose and experiences of the world.

Specialisations

Whilst I have experience in many areas of concern, my areas of speciality focus on anxiety and depression, relationship issues (including, family, friend and partner difficulties), low - confidence, identity, boundaries and work-related stress.
